Wow - people really are idiots...

The existance of ( http://winkiwoo.com/HowItWorks ) proves it.

They produce two products. The first is a printed book with photos from your facebook page. I can possibly see why someone might want a printed photo album with their photos, but it's the second product they offer which has me baffled.

It's the same kind of printed book but instead of photos from facebook it's status updates from facebook - you know the ones that say stupid things like "From Fred: I'm really enjoying this ham and salad sandwich." and of course there's the obligatory mobile phone camera picture of a half eaten sandwich at some cafe or other. I mean really?! I don't give a f*** about your sandwhich. So I'm flabbergasted that anyone would want to pay money to print up a book of these ... geez.

Could make an interesting christmas present. I know you want one zeb... hehehe.

I dont think its a bad idea, Provided it has meaningful pictures and information in it. It seems a bit like filtering things into a blog book. Blogs are a bit more interesting to me than a wall of exchanges.... But if it's of sandwiches or something dull I won't want to read it.

Book of photos - yep I can see that as something people might want.

It aint gonna be something worth putting in a time capsule. how would it would read years from now to a stranger? A bit disconnected.

I would have thought originally you could put the text or status into the photo book. To try and make sense of the images. Seems I was wrong.

This cant have been around for long though, on one hand the photo book is a big sucess in department stores and then people shift their purchases online, then winkiwoo branches into this...At least you can see what your getting before you print the $20 book.
