Woot last day!

Apologeez for my absence on the bf3 server and in the forums of late .. it's all Skyrim's fault. Just had to post a little blogish update to let ya'll know what's happening at my place

So - tomorrow is my last day of work for 2011. I'm taking 8 weeks off. Sadly it's not all holiday -but still - no 'official' work for 8 weeks has me pretty excited.

What will I be doing with myself, I hear you ask? Well - most of it is time off to hang out with the kids over the xmas hols, do dad stuff, play minecraft, star wars/harry potter lego, with them and some of it is to get my wifes new business up and running, which I'll be managing come 2012.

So - dadding it up outside skool hours 'till official xmas hols start - otherwise, lost in Skyrim (and SW:TOR when I finally get my hands on it)

Might even try to check into bf3 and get dive in front of some bullets for yaz if i can swing it.

Oh and V - portal 2 co-op - let me know when!

Loved Oblivion. Now I can't get enough of Skyrim either.

hehe will do - so - which route did you go in skyrim?

i opted for dark elf archer, stealth + light armour (sword and shield) - working my way thru smithing towards glass armour/weapons

i just love that there are sooo many ways to play this game .. im enjoying it even more than morrowind - which is (was) my fave rpg of all time until now.

found a great mod that adds arrows to the crafting system

will probably do a high elf mage for my second play through

I have gone light armor, combat,one handed. By the time i got smithing to 70 i had just gotten whats called "nightingale armor" unlocked by doing a set of subsidiary thieves guild missions.

I've gone for a Breton mage focusing on all magic schools and enchanting. Haven't upgraded health more than twice in the 40 or so levels she is. Haven't picked up a sword and dabbled in a bit of archery.

Trying to get enchanting high enough to make spells almost costless haha. Hardly done any main quest and doing every side quest and misc i can do, but there is just so many!

Next play through I'm going to play as a silent thief/assassin with stealth, one handed and illusion schools.

By the way, that texture for the thieves armour looks amazing
