Not sure why there was a portal gun in a compartment in the cell. Seems like the kind of thing you'd want to _not_ hide in a prisoners cell, but still awesome.

Thanks for sharing who, I dont think I would have found it on my own.

It kind of drove me nuts though when they selectively edited the portal action parts instead of longer shots , but I guess they need quite a budget for the more believable special stunts.
I always thought the portal gun would not work outside because of the moondust or conversion gel needed to make a portal surface. So they say.

I thought the same, but I cant imagine the effects at that quality would be easy or cheap, so its a fair trade off, hope for more in the future though!

In the film, its all within a testing facility course, so presumably the whole lot is a portal surface?
